Visibility at a tunnel entrance: Effect of temporal luminance variation

A dynamic study demonstrates and evaluates the transitory lack of performance at a tunnel entrance evidenced by a sharp increase followed by an asymptotic decrease with time of relative threshold. This overshoot is characterised by its amplitude and its position in time with respect to tunnel entry.
